New Life Addiction Treatment Center is run by a Neurologist, a Psychiatrist and a Neurofeedback expert. Our Neurofeedback program is designed by a recovering addict who developed this unique software proven to dramatically improve the relapse statistics in contrast to Twelve Steps alone. Our program is implemented by Neurogenix, a mental health provider located in Stuart, Florida. Neurogenix offers a transpersonal approach to counseling for adults, teens and couples. Neurogenix utilizes several effective tools and modalities, the most promising of which is neurofeedback, also known as EEG biofeedback or neurotherapy. Neurofeedback is a technology-based treatment for a variety of conditions including those usually considered psychological in nature. Chronic anxiety and depression, for instance, can be relieved without the stigma usually associated with traditional mental health counseling. New Life Addiction Treatment Center Programs
We provide substance abuse education and strategies for avoiding relapse, health problems related to substance abuse and motivational enhancement for achieving a substance-free lifestyle.
Our life skills training includes anger management, communication skills, problem solving, relapse prevention, recovery training, decision-making, relationship skills, and symptom management. We also provide non verbal therapies such as recreation therapy, art therapy, music therapy or dance therapy to provide the client with alternative means of self-expression and problem resolution. Our educational support system is designed to assist clients to manage symptoms as well as overcome their addictions. Our highly qualified staff including Psychologists, Licensed Master Social Worker, Psychiatrist, Neurologist, Nurses and Therapists will guide you down the path to sobriety by individualizing your treatment in a multidisciplinary approach. Initial services include:
- Day/Night Treatment with Community Housing
- Intensive Outpatient
- Outpatient
Patients are monitored 24 hours a day and live in supportive community housing while participating in the drug rehab program. No treatment takes place in the housing where the clients live. Community housing is utilized solely for the purpose of assisting clients in making a transition to independent living. Services are provided in accordance with the needs of the client as identified in a detailed treatment plan, as follows: ● Individual counseling. Patients are monitored 24 hours, 7 days a week by trained staff. Primary counselor’s caseloads are kept to less than 10 clients. Clients who are considered appropriate to this level of care are those who: ● Are not suicidal or homicidal or present a danger to self or others. The Phase 2 level of care is predominantly beneficial to addicts or alcoholics who no longer require the intensive level of substance abuse therapy provided by inpatient or partial hospitalization programs. Each client receives services each week from the clinical staff. Our center is capable of providing or arranging for the services listed below. With the exception of counseling, it is not intended that all services listed be provided. Services are provided in accordance with the needs of the client as identified in a detailed treatment plan, as follows: ● Individual counseling. Our Center is not staffed to address primary mental health problems but we will address and treat clients with dual diagnosis when drug addiction is the primary diagnosis. The need for psychiatric and medical services shall be addressed through our nursing staff so appropriate consultation can be requested. We have a medical doctor/neurologist and a psychiatrist on staff full time. Each client receives services each week from the clinical staff. Our Center will provide or arrange for the services listed below. Services are provided in accordance with the needs of the client as identified in a detailed treatment plan, as follows: ● Individual counseling.
Phase 1. Day/Night Drug Rehabilitation Treatment with Community Housing
● Group counseling.
● Counseling with families.
● Substance abuse education, such as strategies for avoiding substance abuse or relapse, health problems
related to substance abuse, and motivational enhancement and strategies for achieving a substance-free
lifestyle.
● Life skills training such as anger management, communication skills, employability skills, problem
solving, relapse prevention, recovery training, decision-making, relationship skills, and symptom management.
● Non-verbal therapies such as recreation therapy, art therapy or dance (movement) therapy to provide the
client with alternative means of self-expression and problem resolution.
● Training or advising in health and medical issues.
● Employment or educational support services to assist clients in becoming financially independent.
● Mental health services for the purpose of:
● Are able to demonstrate motivation to work toward independence.
● Are able to demonstrate a willingness to live in supportive community housing.
● Are able to demonstrate commitment to comply with rules established by our organization.
● Typically need ancillary services such as transportation, assistance with shopping, or assistance with medical referrals and may need to attend and participate in certain social and recovery oriented activities in addition to other required clinical services.Phase 2. Intensive Outpatient Treatment (Drug Rehab, Chemical Dependency, Alcoholism and Dual Diagnosis)
● Group counseling.
