New Life Addiction Treatment Center, Port St. Lucie, Florida
Successfully Overcoming Addiction with Unique Rehabilitation Treatment
New Life Addiction Treatment Center is the answer to finding the help you need. You may require a brief detoxification program usually lasting 7 to 10 days and a longer-term rehabilitation program lasting approximately 30 to 90 days. We know that achieving the goal of sobriety is no small matter. However, you can become addiction-free and achieve success when you take part in New Life Addiction Treatment Center’s biological approach to the treatment of addiction. New Life is the only addiction treatment center in Florida that combines a 12-step program with neurofeedback at no additional cost. Combining the two approaches significantly increases your odds for success, compared to a 12-step program alone. We custom design your treatment and give you the tools to achieve your goals.
New Life Addiction Treatment Center is owned and operated by a neurologist who personally meets with each client to ensure that their treatment is customized to give them the best chance of starting a new life free from addiction.
Our program includes providing neurofeedback. Neurofeedback is a type of technology-based training that helps balance the brain, which may have become dysregulated through substance abuse. A better balanced brain means you may benefit far more from your rehab experience than you otherwise might. Although not everyone responds the same way to neurofeedback, effects can include reduced anxiety and depression, lowered cravings and better attention and sleep.
Our life skills training includes anger management, communication skills, problem solving, relapse prevention, recovery training, decision-making, relationship skills, and symptom management. We also provide non-verbal therapies such as recreation therapy, art therapy, music therapy and dance therapy to provide the client with alternative means of self-expression and problem resolution. Our educational support system is designed to assist clients in managing symptoms as well as overcoming their addictions. Our highly-qualified staff, composed of psychologists, licensed master’s level social workers, psychiatrists, neurologists, nurses and therapists, will guide you down the path to sobriety by individualizing your treatment in a multidisciplinary approach. Initial services include:
- Day/Night Treatment with Community Housing (PHP)
- Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
